Q3 EVENTS RECAP
NEIGHBORHOOD PICNIC
The rescheduled Neighborhood Picnic occurred on August 24th. Neighbors who attended enjoyed music, snacks, and yard games. Unfortunately, the turnout to the event was small.
CRAFT FAIR
The Social Committee hosted the 3rd Annual Cascades Neighborhood Craft Fair on September 28th.
We had 53 vendors participate, 8 of those being fellow Cascades Neighbors!

Avid reader? Working to reach your reading goal? Occasional reader? Join the Cascades Book Club! All are welcome! Didn't read the book or get it completely finished before the book club date?? Absolutely no judgment from this group - you're still welcome to join!
The Cascades Book Club meets at 7:30 PM on the dates listed below at the Clubhouse (6700 Port Orchard Dr). Reach out to Makenzie Gillette to be added to the Cascades Book Club Facebook group.- December 3rd: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
- Four siblings enter the magical land of Narnia, joining forces with Aslan the lion to defeat the White Witch and restore peace.
- January 7th: READERS CHOICE & 2025 Book Club Kick-Off
- We're hoping to grow our book club! Join us for our 2025 kick-off party!
- Book Discussion: Reader's Choice - Share with the group a recent book you've read. Give a brief overview of the book, your rating, and what you liked or disliked about it.
- Book Exchange: Bring a new or like-new condition book with a 1 - 2 sentence description on it. We'll be drawing and exchanging the books brought white elephant style.
- 2025 Book Selection: Come with 3 titles you're hoping to read this year. We'll put them in a hat and then draw our upcoming books for the following 5 months.

What's the COMO 411? The hub for all things COMO! Through the power of stories and connections, COMO 411 utilizes digital mediums to showcase the community of Columbia.
Fellow neighbor, Adonica Coleman, is the creator and host of the digital talk show that focuses on our community. New episodes drop every Thursday at 4:11 PM.
