Our goal is to provide the neighborhood with fun, engaging events for the whole family!

Q1 EVENTS RECAP

January and February were quiet months for social events. However, in March the Social Committee hosted two events: Trivia Night and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

TRIVIA NIGHT

The Social Committee hosted Trivia Night for the first time, and it is safe to say it was a hit! Keep an eye out for future Trivia events. Thank you to the neighbors who attended the event on March 1st and congratulations to all the teams:.

• 1st Place: Team Redmond
• 2nd Place (Tie): Team Misfits and Team Prestige Worldwide
• 3rd Place: Team Question Solvers

EASTER EGG HUNT

The annual Easter Egg hunt was hosted on March 30th at the Cascades Park. This is the 3rd year of the Social Committee hosting the event. We had fantastic weather and lots of smiles from neighbors! We made a change this year to no longer do "Golden Egg" giveaways and instead leaned on our connection with Scholastic Books to provide an Easter themed book to every child who participated!

📖 Cascades Book Club 📖

Avid reader? Working to reach your reading goal? Occasional reader? Join the Cascades Book Club! All are welcome! Didn't get the book completely finished before the book club date?? Absolutely no judgment from this group - you're still welcome to join!

The Cascades Book Club meets at 7:30 PM on the dates listed below at the Clubhouse (6700 Port Orchard Dr). Reach out to Makenzie Gillette to be added to the Cascades Book Club Facebook group.

• June 4th: Iona Iverson's Rules for Commuting by Clare Pooley

*Denotes a popular book, plan ahead if using the Library to get on the waitlist, or follow along in the Facebook group to see if anyone has one ready to be passed around!

🌱 Green-Thumb Cascades Neighborhood 🌱

Green-Thumb Cascades Neighborhood is a group on Facebook where plant lovers of the Cascades can share their collections, tips, and tricks for growing plants!

COMMUNITY UPDATES

COMO 411

What's the COMO 411? The hub for all things COMO! Through the power of stories and connections, COMO 411 utilizes digital mediums to showcase the community of Columbia.

Fellow neighbor, Adonica Coleman, is the creator and host of the digital talk show that focuses on our community. New episodes drop every Thursday at 4:11 PM.
